Just for fun I took the 18" rims off of my 2004 BMW 330cic and put them on my GTO to see how they would look.
Bolt pattern is the same but the hub on the BMW is much smaller than the GTO. Obviously hubcentric rings are needed.
The tire profile is to small as well.
The BMW rears are 255/35-18 (25.03")
and the fronts are 225/40-18 (25.09")
GTO stock 245/45-17 (25.68")
The actual rim design is great IMO but tires definitely need more sidewall.
Oh, I now the cars are both dirty. Try and look past the dirt.

slam the thing down a few inches and it would look sweet!

I am not really liking those wheels too much. the gap between the split spokes is a bit wide for my taste.

Those wheels look great on a Beemer, but for some reason don't make the translation too well.

It's the sidewall height. These wheels fill the wheelwell up on a 330 but they are over a 1/2" short than the stock wheels on a goat and those wheels are to small IMO to begin with.
265/40-18 would make the sidewalls about 1.25" taller than the rear BMW wheels.
Tha would change the look considerably.
But I agree, they don't look as good.

They're good looking rims, but of course you need a bit more sidewall on them. If those are standard BMW rims, I'm assuming a 40mm offset, which is great for the Goat. And also a 72.5mm hub. CSiJason is working on a set of hubcentric rings for them (69.5mm Goat -> 72.5mm BMW). Since mine are OZ's with a 40mm offset and 72.5mm hub, they're basically BMW aftermarket. Lot's of good choices there.

Have you mounted those OZs? Or are you waiting for the rings?
I am still looking for rims so I might need a set of rings if I pick BMW rims.

Oh yeah. I've mounted them. They're fine. I have rings, but they're not to spec. They do fine without perfect rings up to 120mph or so, then a little shake. But for any longterm or highspeed application, 69.5->72.5 rings would be needed. IMO.
Pretty much any BMW rim with a 40mm to 45mm offset, 8" to 9" will work fine. 9.5" in the rears with fender rolling.

For the wheels pictured, the fronts are 18x8.0 offset +47mm, the rears are 18x8.5 offset +50mm.
I purchased a set of BMW wheels in a different design, but the same size. I am having centering rings machined, and I should hear by the end of the week if they work with no problems. Not to complicate things too much, although the hub for a newer BMW 3-series is 72.5mm, the hubs for other BMWs are slightly larger. Many/most aftermarket wheels for BMWs have centerbores in 74-76mm range, so that they can be mounted on a larger variety of BMWs...
