I just bought a 2004 GTO today and when I was there the other day getting it all set up I looked at a black one that had all the toys.

THEY WERE CHARGING 4000 dollars for rims and tires, and 1700 for a corsa exhaust. They are retarded.

I can get a sweet set of boyd coddington wheels for alot less and look 10 times better.

Anyone else notice this at there local dealer?

Lots of dealers mark stuff way up assuming you will finance it into your loan and not care. http://newmansjunk.com/images/smiles/5moulin.gif

If somebody buys it, then I'd say that the dealer is pretty shrewd!

...or they assume just like the price of the car, you expect to haggle those prices down as well.

I'd tell them to shove it up their arse!

I'd tell them to shove it up their arse! Not buying it is the best way to do just that. Likely, somebody will buy it, at which point the dealer will not care about your opinion, since he will have been right and you will have been wrong. I believe it was PT Barnum who originally made the observation that 'nobody ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of the American public' (or words to that effect).

My car had gawd, chrome 18"s with el cheapo tires on it when I test drove it. But they 'only' wanted 2500 for them.
It had the factory 17"s on it when I left.

My dealer had a red one with 20's on it and they were asking $7,000. The car sat there for about 8 months.

It does't matter the size of wheel, it's the offset of the wheel and the size of the tire on the wheel that counts.

Yes Corsa exhaust is available through your local GM dealer. If installed by them it is covered under your factory warranty. Don't know what happens if you install it yourself.
