View Full Version : Throttle Body Bypass Pics...

Installed a TB bypass kit. You'll see in pics that 6 1/4" was cut from the coolant line running along the top inside edge of the radiator (This was to clear the pulley/belt) Long nosed vice-grips were used to clamp off the lines during install. I'm not going to worry about this next winter, because we don't have winters in S Oklahoma anymore :p

I'm not sure of the HP gains from this mod.. from what I've seen/read, maybe a few. But a few here and there have got to add up, right!? ;)

What do you expect that mod to do for you? Will that keep the air a little cooler coming into the engine. Do you anticipate any problems with driveability? If there are any gains from it that looks like an extremely easy and cheap mod.

I'm sure it's not a huge pwr gain.. maybe this mod is more of a peace of mind type mod ;)
I don't forsee any driveability issues.. espeically since the tempatures hardly ever get below 32 here. And when they do it's usually for a very short time...
