Anyone use these tires, Hoosier Drag Slick 26.0'' x 9.0''-15'' # D06 Compound, I'm thinking of trying them. I use M/T ET Street Radials right now and have no problems with them, I was told I would get more runs out of a slick. I get about 40 runs with M/T radials. What do you think?

i dont think so..i could be wrong but the radials will last longer than a soft slick.
only reason they wouldnt is cause the radials you can drive on full time..but if its just a track only tire the radial should last longer..if everything is the same burnouts ect..ect..

Personally, I have a set of the Hoosier DOT DR's (255/50-16) that are more like harder slicks. I think they've been doing alright by me as I drive them to and from the track ~75 miles away a weekend or so a month. By no means would I run them daily though.
Are you looking for a take to track or drive to track tire?

I change my tires at the strip, they would only be used at the strip. Do you get more runs out of a slick than a M/T radial?

I've never run MT's so I couldn't compare the wear issue with them. I have more than 50 runs on these tires (~6-10 runs/track day) and drive to and from the strip on them. They still have a good amount of meat on them and should last the rest of the summer.
