I had them installed today. 245/35/19 and 285/30/19.

The 245 is noticeably wider then the Dunlop 245's I removed.

The 285's are a perfect for the CCW 10" rim. The tread comes out much further and the lip is no longer exposed to small scrapes. The rears were Pilot Sports and for some reason they didn't last very long. LOL

No pictures yet as my wife has the camera and is 200 miles away right now.

The ride and handling are the same down the road but I haven't pushed it yet to see how they hold.

Overall I like them, but will see how I feel on a few hundred miles on them.

BTW I had the fender lips trimmed off and hammered the fender well and so far no rub flying over big bumps or into driveways.

Found a camera.

The shop set the PSI to 33 pounds. I upped it to 39 like before and it feels much better.

They do seem to grab better then the Pilots I had before.

Nice... The dual exhaust set up on the rear bumper looks awesome!

I want those...the price is pretty damn good on them from what I've seen too.

Thanks, I love the way the bumper came out.

Prices are not too bad but 285's are kind of limited in my size. Of course the Pilots are available at around $400 each

They took a few weeks to get as Nitto seems to be still ramping up production.

Nice. You've got King rear springs right? My 275s dont rub at all, but I'd like to get a 285 back there when these wear out on my 505As. Problem is I just dropped the rear 1/2" with Pedders drop springs and it went down a little over half an inch from the King springs. If the King springs dont sell I may have to go back to them to fit the 285s although I'm going to see if Toyo offers a tire in the size I'm looking for.

Can you post pics showing how far you had to roll or cut the fender? Also have any pics showing what you had to do to the inner fender area?

Thanks!

I have the invos also (stock 18"s with oem size) and I think they are pretty good....for the straight line only. When I take turns on them, I can feel the side wall flex. Hell, even when I look at them from the outside, I can see that the side wall isn't that great; but good tires for the price nonetheless.

I had the Pilot not the Pilot 2's.

Getting a shot of the removed lip would be hard unless I pull the tire off again. If you look at the 4th shot by the top of the tread you can see were they cut in and went up and around.

The handling is unchanged for me but I run a 19’s with low sidewalls and a Pedders suspension and Hotchkis swaybars.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo come on it takes like 5 minutes to take the wheel off! :)

I'm lookin' for inner fender area work here not just the cut lip.

You cant see anything on the inside. I hit it with a sledge hammer a few times and painted it black. It looks pretty stock.

I replaced my Invo's with Michelin PS2's when I went staggered 19's. While the Invo's were OK, the Michelins are heads above them, ride and noise wise. Great in the rain also.

Looks great Dan! But why did you need new tires...you only put on 200 miles a YEAR commuting to work? Sadly, I've gone through a rear set on the dyno alone!! lol

I was almost down to the tread bars on the back. I love these new freeway on ramp lights. Stop then get to 70MPH as fast as you can so you don't get hit in the rear.

I got about 5000 miles in two years out of the Michelin's so.
PS2 $440
Invo $279
Equals more mod money.

I ran the same pilots in the rear. The traction really sucked with them and mine didnt last long either. I will never buy them again as long as I live. Currently Im running the NeoGens and they look just like your sires do. I too had to bacsh the fender well and trim the lip all the way. Looks killer man.
