I was toying around with this idea I have had in my head to spice up my 17's. I was thinking about painting the inner portions of each spoke like a gloss black or maybe a gunmetal color. I rigged up a ghetto diagram on photoshop (Please excuse my piss poor effort but you get the idea). Comments?

If anyone can rig up something better please let me know.

if your only gonna do that much then just get gloss black vinyl and cut to fit. too much time would be put into pulling of the wheels, masking and paint for that.

That looks good. I was thinking red on a black car. The vinyl idea is good too. I had an idea using chrome or stainless tape.

not those ugly things.....i just mean go to a vinyl shop or something and get solid gloss black and cut to fit. easiest and best way. can be removed if you dont like in person too

I rather get them painted honestly, the vinyl makes it look cheesy IMO.

Paint them slight gunmetal. The wheels are probably stock here, but see how the distortion makes them look a darker shade of grey? I think it looks pretty good. You just have to nail the right shade.

get the right vinyl and do it right and you wont tell a diference. like said, i suggested it to you just in case you end up not liking it in person

You have no imagination. These are already cut to fit, all you have to do is paint them to suit. No need to reinvent the wheel.
