I've been reading bad things about 35 offset out back so will they fit? I'm trying to find black rims that will fit 275s out back and *perhaps* not require fender rolling, and or drag bags. Is this just totally impossible?

Also it doesn't bother me if they pop out of the fender some.

No, they will be too far out towards the fender. The higher the number, the farther in they will be. You need a 45 at least in the back with a 9" wide wheel and that might even require fender modifications with a 275 tire.

www.gravanatuning.com has drift r wheels in black with 9 in wheels out back with 275's and no rolliing of the fenders.

Wow though at almost 400 a piece that's a lot for wheels. I was hoping to do my wheels and tires together for less than 1500. Hmmm this becomes interesting. Also I've gotta be upfront and say I really don't like them, I'm kinda shooting for multi-spoked rims like this one http://www.gravanatuning.com/applications/2006_Pon tiac_GTO_6.0.aspx/38/2166/_Zone_1_Forged_20_GTO_Wh eel_Package_Set_of_4

I have at least one website saying that the 17x9 with the 35 offset will fit, do they just not know what they're talking about. Or is the issue more with the 275s than the wheel itself?
Also found a different wheel and it gave me these numbers. 5x120 High 69.5 12x1.50 FWD. I know the 5x120 is the bolt pattern is the 69.5 the offset? And is a 69.5 offset good for the 275s or is it bad but for the opposite reason on the 35 offset wheels?

The 69.5mm dimension is the diameter of the bore for the hub.
A 17x9" wheel with an offset of +35mm will not fit without issues.

As stated- won't fit without modification to the fenders...

ASA AR1's - black is what I chose, 17x9's +45mm offset $148 on Tire Rack. Both front (17x8's) and back ran me $613.46 to my door. I'm waiting on my hubs rings to come in, but I'm running 275's on the back.

Thats fine I gave up on the 35 offset rims. I've found 3 rims that fit without modification. I dislike all of them. But I guess I'll keep looking. Any thoughts though for a rim that will fit the 275s without any work? And relatively cheap too, and by that I mean under 200 bucks each with an absolute stretch to 250 a piece. I don't care if they're 16s or 17s or 18s. And worst case scenario I'll get them powder coated black.

No, they don't know what they are talking about. Those numbers don't make a lot of sense to me. 12x1.50 is the lug size I'm thinking and 69.5 could be the center bore size. If it was the offset, than it would be to much and rub, or should I say be jammed into the inside of the fender.

Almost any of the ASA wheels from tirerack will work for you as long as you stay with a +45mm in the bcak with a 9.5" wheel. I have ASA JH8 wheels but I had the rear ones machined to +50mm at a machine shop and am running 265's. They do not rub at all and my fenders are unmodified.

So if they were only 9 inches wide out back that would be too little with the +45 offset?

Should work fine with a 45mm and 9" wide but could possibly have to grind/cut/roll fenders.

And I'm sure it isn't a 35mm offset.
You are correct but i wasn't sure of the actual offset.I thought i seen somewhere the offset was 48 mm.

So now just to clarify because I may have found exactly what I want. Will a 45mm offset on a 9.5 wide wheel be perfectly fine for a 275? Now I realize you may have sort off said that before, but I just want to be sure because I may have found something perfect for me.

Yes, it will work but be prepared to modify your rear fenders by rolling or cutting. Many people on this website are running this offset. What wheels are you looking at?

They were some Beyerns and I was going to get them powder coated black. Hmmm but I figured I wouldn't have to touch my fenders which is my main concern. I know its not something that serious, just not something I want to do. I just want some black rims that I can fit some 275s and just just put them on without any work other than physically installing them. Though it seems that on my budget its borderline impossible.

Many people on here have Beyerns in the size you are looking at. Do a search.

Yeah, but you're saying I'm gonna have to do stuff to the fenders which is something I want to avoid like the plague.

Yeah, but you're saying I'm gonna have to do stuff to the fenders which is something I want to avoid like the plague. That's your only option with that size and offset. You could always just do 8.5" with a +40mm offset all the way around.

Is there any size with a 45 offset that wouldn't need fender work? and will fit a 275?
Or what kind of offsets should I be looking at?

Would a 9inch width with a 53 offset be good?

52mm is what the drift r's that gravna is selling , 53mm is a good offset also

I was looking on the gravana site before for the offset but couldn't find it. So at that number I could avoid touching the fenders?

that should avoid the fenders , depending on the actual tire you go with , you might need to double check everything
some tires are 275 narrow , likt the toyo's or nitto's , or 275 wide like bfg's
the wides you will need to double check everything
