View Full Version : ?'s about 8.5 up front and 9.5 in the rear

hey is any one running 8.5's up front how do they look? i was reading the guide but is said it was a no no the rims i found i think on only come in 8.5 and 9.5. also will a 9.5 fit in the rear on a stock car will i have to roll or cut fenders.

the fronts will fit, but with a 9.5 in the back and a +38 offset, you'll need serious fender work and even then you might still have some trouble.

a good offset for 9.5 in the back is 45 but you'll most likely have to cut or roll

38 in the back will be a huge headache. At least get something 45 or higher.

I’m running 8.5” in the front and 9.5” in the rear with 235’s and 275’s. They are Corvette wheels though so I had to do the spacer in the front…nothing required in the rear. The 275’s fit perfectly not sticking out like many wheels do.

Heyyy, now that's how a 9.5" rim should fit! :thumbs: So many folks have installed poor offset (BMW) wheels it's practically become commonplace seeing GTO's with bugged-out wheels.

40mm front atleast 45mm in back I have stern St1's with 9.5 in back with 46mm offset probably gonna mill 5mm off of that soon to get 51mm offset

with the 45mm offset will there still b that nice wide stance from the back?
