:) Great expectations were in order for the Horizon Motorsports Pontiac GTO. What happened??
The Horizon racer qualified 11th, 2 seconds off the pole. While closing the gap significantly from the Daytona 24 spread.
All was well till a high tech kevlar oil line decided to spring a leak for some reason yet undetermined, coupled with an experimental oil pump drive that broke and stopped our race.
Although diasppointed the car had been driven to a solid 8th at the moment of retirement and "woulda-shoulda-coulda" finished in the top 5.
Undaunted we will be at the Rolex at Fontana the first of April.
Anyone visiting the race are welcome to stop by and see the hot rod.
