i am looking to purchase the azaz-01's and i have a few questions. i am looking at the staggered set up with 18 x 8.5 (235/40/18) in front and 18x 9.5 (265/35/18) in back.
1. can't seem to find the offset on these. looked at three different sites
2. do these fit perfectly without strut rub and rolling fenders
3. anyone know the weight.
thanks in advance
Don

wheelmax is the only actual importer of the wheels..... they don't have them... many of us have had problems with the wheels and it's been over a year since they've had stock on the 18's. Plus, I encourage people to not do business with wheelmax. If you absolutely must buy these wheels then at least go through Sean at TopShelf (sponsor on left)
Oh, and back to your original ?'s..... No.... the rears still do not fit.... YOU MUST ROLL!!!!!!!!!

They wont Rub if you buy a set of 5/16 rear springs from Pedders.I know lots of people who have them and no fender rolling.

I know this does not answer your questions and I dont mean to hijack but.............
Let me heavily re-enforce what bill12s said... Actually yes Sean at Top Shelf is great overall but I still would not buy anything that in the end comes from wheelmax ever again, no matter who the seller is. Cause in situations like the many of us with the Z1 issues he can do nothing to help it seems and is at their mercy just the same as us. I may never get my money back or at this rate a even set of rims to replace my defect ones but I will make sure every time I see a person potentially buying from them they will know what they are like to deal with and hope to steer them to another vendor.
The only set that gets a 275 on the rear with no roll i know of is the Drift R's.... I had mine cut by the local body shop which i had to do for the AZAs and would have had to do for the TSWs, that is unless you get springs so the rear doesnt ever drop on a bump ect.....

Ran a set of the 18's AND 19's AZA Z1's with NO rolling NO cutting. Drag Bags installed with 8 pounds and NEVER hit the tires. Just sold the car with them on it. It looks awesome and the new owner is VERY pleased.

Well I called just to see and just like everytime I have talked to them for the last year, since the whole AZA peeling problems started for us. It is still out of stock and should be in in a couple weeks.... which has become months...... and now a year

Not sure what you are looking at..... but NO they don't have the wheels referenced in this thread (AZA Z-1's 18's in HS) The wheels in my avatar. Plus, unless you are looking to flush money and can afford to simply buy a product that has a high probability of having a problem in which nobody will fix for you unless you pay to have it done all on your own.......... then I would suggest you stay away from Wheelmax and all of their products (AZA)

Damn these wheels are getting scarce. Damn shame cause they look fantastic on the car. Personally, I think the 19's look better than the 18's. Drag bags and King springs and you will not have to roll/cut your fenders. Still recommend you do though. Good luck finding them.

WM told me today the Z-01 replaces the Z-1, and is identical to it. I asked why they are so much less expensive and the woman didn't have an answer for that. They should be in in about two weeks. Which two weeks, she didn't know. ;-)

I cant wait for them to get these in and then tell all of us waiting for warranty replacements that they cant swap for these cause they are Z-01 instead of Z-1 and are not the same model or some new "story" out of them. That or if the price is true, we all paid more, have had terrible peeling rims on our cars, in our garage sitting or like me sitting in their warehouse all this time basically useless and now the price comes down.

Sounds like Wheelmax alright. We'll take the existing product, change the name, lower the price and tell people they'll be in in 2 weeks.
Dude, trust us..... go elsewhere..... save some more money and buy the real deal from CCW....

Well these are the wheels i got instead. they are MKW M-50's.
Tires: Falken 452s
(see attached pics)
Fr: 18 x 8 w/235/40/18
Rr: 18 x 9 w/265/35/18
Bought them both with 40 mm offsets. Instead of rolling fenders they machined another 5 mm off the wheel to make it a 45 mm offset. Now rubbing is not an issue.

I have the 19's. No rubbing whatsoever with drag bags.
And why in the world would you rather cut, than have drag bags???

This rim looks similar to the AZA, although I haven't seen anyone on here that has a set on their GTO.

There was another thread here about those wheels, showed a pic of them on a BMW. Someone said the Z-1s are a copy of the GT3, but at a far lower price. I think the GT3s were about $2300 for a set.
