DRAG RADIALS ON MY STOCK 18s

i have a set of stock 18s and was going to put drag radials on the rear. so far i only know of the bf drag radials that are made in 18 rim size. i am going to roll my fenders for sure. the only thing im debating is what size to get either the 275/35/18 or the 265/40/18. now i just gotta say i love the drag strip look of the tire balloning out so im kinda leaning toward the 275s but that bigger sidewall on the 265s sounds pretty good too!!! any advice guys? and does anyone have any pics of these tire sizes installed?

If you like the drag strip look, get some 16s. I'd crap my pants if I was the tech guy and saw a 275 DR bubbling over the stock 18s.

I'd be concerned if those will even fit without rubbing with the stock wheel offset... plus 18" DRs are not cheap. I thought of that too, until I saw the price. :eek2:

as for price they're not that bad only like 230 a tire. but i would love to see that look on the 18s. do u guys think i would rub with the fenders rolled? any pics

You will never get 275's on a set of stock rims without widening them. No way. Besides, stock 18's are heavy. As well as the fact an 18" rim doesn't have enough sidewall to be effective for drag racing.

FYI and please dont flame me. I just got some 285/35/18" NITTO 555 R's on a tip that they would fit. They came VIA UPS yesterday and believe it or not they are narrower than my 275 M/T dr's. I've got no reason to lie to anyone I just wanted to let y'all know.
