Okies, I did a small search and can't find the thread from the beginning of the year, so everyone gets a mulligan (I picked San Diego vs Dallas).

3 weeks in, I am picking Dallas vs Indy.

Chicago Indy the re-match (j/k)

It's damn early to tell, Dallas does look strong but its still early, and Pats are looking very very strong !

After week 3, I'll say New England vs. Dallas, New England winning.

Although Brady is having a monster year along with Randy Moss, it seems like he has a hard time beating Indy. I don't really like either team, but the Pats look hard to beat this year. I'll take NE and Dallas also with the same outcome.

Actually, it's Indy that has a hard time beating Brady, with the obvious exception of last year's AFC champ game. Brady almost pulled off taking down the colts in that game last year with a batch of really bad offensive weapons. However, Indy does have the better defense this year, IMO. But in the end, that's why they play the games.

up until last year Manning never beat Brady

I'm really interested to see how Dallas still looks in 3 more weeks

at the beginning of the year i would have said indy vs saints

now i think it will be indy vs packers. for some reason i just dont see the pats going all the way. probably mostly because i dislike them, but i just dont see them going undefeated in the postseason. damn are they good though.

i did not talk any trash what so ever about the cowboys, but i get all this crap for saying the packers will make it to the NFC championship game.

here are facts that have happened that i think will make the packers go to the SB instead of dallas.

1) When the packers played them earlier this year it was the packers defense that lost the game. They were down 3 MAJOR contributors on the defensive side of the ball. (KGB, Woodson, and Jolly)
2) Favre has been to the playoffs many times, and a leader who has been there before is huge
3) The packers have a better defense statistically than the cowboys. there is a saying...offense wins games, defense wins championships. whether you like it or not that statement is true. indy is a perfect example, they didnt win the SB until their D showed up.

Im not saying i am absolutely going to be right. i would not be suprised at all to see the cowboys in the SB (or the pats). i think that it is pathetic that you cowboys fans jump all over me when i did not say one word about your team. grow up.

You have to hate a team now to predict their QB will choke? Favre has experience, Romo doesnt. If he goes out and proves me wrong kudos to him and the boys, but it's just my prediction.

I must disagree with you sir. While the Pack did have some defensive injuries, it was Brett Farve's performance that lost the game for your Packers. The game didn't get close until Aaron Rogers replaced Mr. Farve.

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT
A. Rodgers 18/26 201 7.7 1 0
B. Favre 5/14 56 4.0 0 2

And Magical Farve fumbles twice.

Pats vs Packers

Not this time Brett. He might be the only guy left on the team since XXXI.

No Desmond Howard either to drive the nail in the coffin with a big runback.

Don't hate and don't doubt the PATS. I wouldn't mind seeing Chicago get back to the bowl either for a little Patriots revenge.

If the Pats win the next three, they run the table. Truthfully, I'd like to see them lose a game just to drive the fact home that it can happen. But, no team will win in Foxboro during the playoff run. And, no NFC team scares me.

BRETT FAVRE INJURED WHILE STARING AT TONY ROMO

Brett Favre retired from the Packers-Romo game in the second quarter after taking a powerful hit from Dallas player Nathan Jones. Jones' hit on Favre led to an interception and would leave the 38 year old quarterback broken physically and emotionally . Jones's helmet hit his right elbow and landed hard on his left shoulder. During the play Tony Romo was on the sideline stretching, some believe that Favre was distracted by seeing this which may have led to his injury Romo threw four touchdown passes, including three in first half to break Danny White's single-season franchise record (29).

wrong, the packers defense LOST the game. the 37 points the cowboys scored on the packers was the MOST POINTS a team has scored on the packers all year. The packers offense scored 27, which with a solid defense would have been enough to beat the cowboys.

besides that, the packers offensive line was simply not blocking well enough, Favre had no time to throw. The only reason rogers did better was because he is more mobile than Favre is now. Either way, Favre made mistakes that hurt, but the defense was the reason the packers lost. the injuries the packers had on defense would have made a huge difference.

i didnt say ANYTHING about the packers having an outstanding offense. i also didnt saying ANYTHING about the cowboys offense.

i guess i have to break it down for you...again.

1) packers only gave up 37 points once this year
2) that game they were missing their starting DB, DT, and DE

coincidence or do you think it MIGHT have had at least a little bit to do with it?

stop taking it as the cowboys arent as good, the cowboys offense isnt good, etc. take it as...for my superbowl predicition (thats the name of the thread incase you forgot) has the packers from the NFC because i think in the playoffs they will be more likely to beat the cowboys for the reasons i listed. I NEVER ONCE SAID ANYTHING BASHING THE COWBOYS so act like men and stop taking shots at other teams or other peoples opinions because they are simply that...opinions. like i said earlier, i wouldnt be suprised to see dallas in the SB...or even seattle.

I was never a Farve fan, but when he started his primadonna stuff a coupla years ago, with the will I retire, will I come back crap, I lost any respect for him. He basicly held the Packers ransom where they were forced to draft Aaron Rogers with their 1st pick. He even called a press conference that year to make an announcement and when everyone showed up for it, he was like, I don't know why you all are here or some chit. Packers are playing way above themselves this year. They are doing much better than anyone expected, but I think the time has come to pass the torch to Rogers. Let Farve retire and let the Packers move forward. If the Packers get pass their 1st rd opponent in the playoffs, Farve will be 0-10 in Dallas.
