Gotta love it. It is not often the media has to eat some crow. Of course the wagon circling has already begun.

Cliff notes: fat assed gal journalist wrote an article saying the benched qb was demoted because of attitude and he was scared to play. The kid really did nothing wrong other than play bad.

Now lib sports media is circling wagons backing up the journalist.

Good, this fat no talent woman has/had no right to talk about this player in the manner that she did. What does being a "mama's boy" have anything to do with how well he playes...it doesnt. If hes playing bad, say he playes bad, dont attack him based on his personal life. ITS A GAME, dont belittle people because they are not performing the way you want them to, hes not getting paid, hes not doing it for money, hes doing it for the love of game and maybe a free education.

I feel that College students should be protected from personal attacks like this! i think everything that Coach said was right, if she hada kid (or if she were a decent human being, with a very basic understanding of ethics) she would not have written this article.

I completely support Gundy in his actions. Too many times does the media hammer a college KID who is playing some big time sport. I am hard pressed to find the ones that are failing out of school and get in other trouble. Its always the athletes that get the most fall out.

I already made my comments in the "College Football" thread so I won't make any low blows in here, but man, Grundy needs to grow a pair!

Watch the video for yourself and make your own judgments

Anyone that thinks the coach had a "meltdown", do not have much experience in playing team sports. What he did was nothing more than if he were scolding his team. Coaches do that all the time and trust me, I have seen much worse. I think the media needs to grow some balls.

Yep, When playing college ball (back in the day) The one true good feeling you had is that your coach (wether you did good or ****ed something up) he had your back !

Grundy did what he had to do! IMO what he did just shows how much passion Grundy has for his players!

I say well done ! :judge:
