For everyone with the 19" Drift-R's with the 9" front and the 10" rear, do you think a 285 30 19 would fit on the rear without rolling? Or maybe a 275 30 19 of a different brand than the Toyo?

And I guess for the front, if a different brand tire was used ( other than a Toyo )would a 265 rub the strut?

For the 285's you'll have to roll or grind down your fender lips.
Just saw the same setup yesterday and he had ground down the fender to run the 285 Toyo's.
Don't know about the fronts as he also had Toyo's mounted in the 265 series.

I just put my Drift R's on today 9" front, 10" rear with 285 Toyo's in the rear. Everything fits but I only drove around the block and didn't jack it up to take a look. I dont' have my fenders rolled or cut yet but I do have the Track II so there isn't much squat in the rear. I do plan on rolling/cutting them to be safe.

Post some pics when you get a chance. Maybe one of the rear wheel at an angle. I would like to see how the tire fits on the rim if you don't mind.

I have 275's on mine for now and the only place I had any rubs was the inner fender well(was rim that rubbed). I just massaged it a bit....lol. I'm running stock suspension now so if you have stiffer spring then you might be alright.

I was really wanting to get Bridgestone 960AS tires. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I can get a 275*30*19 for the rear but only a 245*35*19 for the front. I am not sure if that would be too small in width. According to their web site, a 9" rim is an approved rim for that tire. It measures about 1" narrower than the 275. I think these tires will last longer than the Toyo's. I wish I could still get the old Drift-R's in the 8's and 9's.:(

I'm positive I can get any brand 285 to fit on the back of mine already had fenders ground down and drag bags for other sets of rims. I wanna get a 295 or 305 back there. The front anything and I mean anything wider than a 265 toyo on the front will rub its VERY close now but no rub on a daily driver yet.

I agree, I probably could've went 285 Toyo's in the rear and I might next summer, but 265 on the front with Toyo's are very tight. Your lucky to get a few pieces of paper in there. I have the Pedders 5/16" springs in the rear, with no cutting/rolling.
