thinking about going with the AZA Z-01's, but have a question. I see a lot of people talking about the staggered setup. do I HAVE to cut/roll my fenders for them to fit with the staggered setup; or is it going to rub/cut and blow out if I don't? What tires are best recommended for this wheel? I see a lot of Toyo's in people's sigs that have the AZA's. I just would like the wheel size/tire to wrap, mount and go; no rolling if possible.

I also see people going with 19's instead of 18's; some because of the "gap" in the rear fender, but with an automatic, the back drops slightly anyways when put into Drive, so would that really be an issue if I got 18s? ALSO, I've heard that Top Shelf is not responding to e-mails, etc. and http://www.wheelmax.com is rated "F" with the BBB; where do I get these wheels at? From what I understand, wheelmax is a great place to buy them at, but if you have problems with them, you're better off not trying. am I correct?

thanks for any help! :)

Ooooook....:) FIRST OFF...I'D RECCOMMEND NOT GETTING THESE WHEELS BECAUSE WHEELMAX IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT YOU CAN GET THEM NOW. AND I'M NOT GONNA GET INTO HOW I AND MANY OTHERS FEEL ABOUT THAT COMPANY!..:) Now, with the offset of those wheels, if you go with the staggered set-up, which will give you 275's out back, you WILL have to roll/cut your fenders. Possiable that you will need drag bags as well. The norm for 18's is I believe 245/40/18 up front and 275/35/18 in the rear, and for 19's 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear. And as for the "wrap and go" wheels and tires you want...Gonna have to get better wheels for that if you want the staggered set-up. It's not so much the tires size but more so the offset of the wheel. Going with 18's or 19's is totally a personal thing...All depends on what you like..No right or wrong answer for that.

Save up and get some CCW's :) Best wheels for out cars IMO. ;)

Yep, I agree with the CCWs, my favorite rims actually. Only thing is, they cost like $3500.00!!!!

lol, thanks for the disclaimer on wheelmax.com. I really want to go with the AZA-1's, if I SHOULD go ahead and not listen to anybody, will I receive my wheels, there's just a risk I may get them damaged? Or will I not receive them at all? Not sure what the actual problem with them is :o. with the AZA's, if I decide against the staggered, would I just get 4 245/40/18's??

ALSO, can anybody link me to the CCWs or any pictures of these on a IBM? Not sure what they are. :o

thanks for the help so far.

DUDE...Before you go with wheelmax...do a search and thumb through some of the threads about them...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!..LOL. But I have not heard of anyone not getting thier wheels...Just if you have ANY problems...Go down to walgreens and buy you some KY so they can just slide into that bootyhole while the F*** you...lol. If you install you wheels and they are not right...like they are impossable to balance and you get a shimmy or a vibration...IE. the wheels are warpped or something...GUESS WHAT!.. You wheels are now considered used and if you try to return them, you get hit with paying for the shipping and some crazy BS arse 50% restocking fee...and thats just one of the problems you can have with wheelmax...like I said, DO A SEARCH ON HERE AND READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!

And yes...I am 99.9% sure that 245/40/18 is correct for the 18" non staggered set-up.

link for the CCW wheels....

Click on gallery for pics...they have a few of the GTO. I went with the 505A's 19" staggered, I love em. And these wheels are MUCH better fitting than the AZA's. And customer service is good. No worries when dealing with these people.

besides the CCW wheels, does anybody know any more sites where I can just look at different wheels? I don't like anything more than 5 spokes; and the CCW are a little out of my price range, lol. I have no idea where to start looking besides tirerack.com or something :o

You could start by looking at the GTO Wheel Gallery provided on this forum... You may see wheels on someone else's GOAT that you would like for yours... You could then inquire about them.... Here's the link:

I've ordered 2x from wheel max........ the first time, I ordered a set of Motegi DPK, they were delivered within a week.... the second time i ordered a set of Nexo-px5 rims, they even called me when they found out there was a change in the design of the rim to confirm if i still wanted them. Also got here in about a week after they recieved them.

Now, this was over a year ago since i ordered my last set from them, so i don't know how much has changed since then.

I had a good experience with them.... I wouldn't go over the top to recommend them though. But you get what you pay for.

Just to let you know that not everyone has had a bad experience with that company
