I live in GA and I will maybe see snow 1 time this winter. The temp does get down below 40 degrees alot but I am wondering if a summer only tire will be okay in these conditions or would the best solution be to get an all season tire? Who has experience with running a summer only tire like the kdw2(nt) in the winter? My OEM potenzas are about gone at 5k miles and I need some advice on which tires to get. I was thinking of either doing kdw2, Eagle F1, Eagle F1 A/S, or 960 A/S.Thanks in advance.

get a couple of winter tires and have summer tires 2.

Below 40, OEM Potenzas feel greasy and hard. However, I noticed that after I replaced all the front end with poly, grip improved greatly and I bet I will get a lot more wear out of my current tires.
However, if you are in an area that gets cold, I'd say get all seasons. Getting dedicated tires for summer and winter sounds great on paper, but with some shops charging $25 for mounting a rf balance, that is a pretty expensive option.
