after cutting fenders, what paint to use to seal?

should i just clear coat it to seal it up, or try to paint it? my car is silver. what should i use? thanks.

i think the clear will do. i did a few coats.

I used a product called "Chassis Saver". Recommended by the auto paint store that I got it from.

After grinding, I just sanded & used a tube of OEM to paint it. No problems so far.
