Say this much for LeBron, he isn't backing down. It would be easy to flip-flop allegiances and blame it on youthful indiscretion. Or just watch the game from home.
I can't fault him for that.

I respect him more for actually showing up with a Yanks hat on.

It's not that brave sitting in Jacobs Field with a Yankee hat on. He wouldn't have the balls to do it in Fenway park if he played for the Celtics. They'd kill his ass. Hey, he's just acting like any young punk would do to piss off his parents. It's kind of like wearing your pants down around your ankles. You feel like an idiot but you know it pisses off regular folk.
Whatever his ignorant intentions were, it worked. Got his face plastered all over TV all night.

Meh, he grew up in the 90s. It's just proof that many American sports fans are frontrunners. At least he stated that he has "been a Yankee fan my whole life". That shows some semblance of loyalty.
EDIT: Malcum, that sig pic is disturbing. Funnier than hell, but disturbing. :D

I guess if that's the worst thing he does we shouldn't complain. There are plenty of his contemporaries in pro sports that are bigger embarrassments. He hasn't murdered anyone yet nor driven his hummer up a telephone pole in an alcohol/drug stuper. I grew up in Akron and live just south in North Canton, about a mile as the crow flies from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I''m very familiar with his career starting with the 8th grade. He still sticks to his roots here as far as I can tell. He re-signed with the Cavs for whatever they offered I think. He probably doesn't even know what his playing salary is. When you're getting 200 mil or so a yr in endorsements-who cares. He's at Tiger Woods level of fame and money but without the Stanford education to go along with it-or HS for that matter.;)
I put up the sig picture to keep reminding me I need to hit the salad bar more often and for our poor souls on here from MA.

They wouldn't kill his ass. But they would pelt him with slices of pizza.
