God Bullpups are so ugly. Only one that ever looked half ok was a Mossberg 590 Bullpup I saw awhile ago.

Ugly but invaluable in a tactical situation.

These seem to be pretty nice

Although it seems like they have cut down on their AK offerings.
But they still have this VEPR FAQ page

I know, I know, but VEPR is supposed to be a very high quality gun.
Also AK74 is not a military clone, it is THE military issue rifle.
P.S. what I want to try one day is this - Abakan 94. Never mind it looks like an AK. It is not. Has anyone here ever heard about it? I first heard about it ~10 years ago.

Weapons aren't about appearance. Last time I checked it was the round coming out of the chamber from a good rifle that mattered, not "oh look at me my gun is sexy" that kills people.
I think steyr augs are sexy.

I agree but I think good looks shows a certain level of workmanship and care that goes into a gun.
Yes there are guns that are fugly and very good, like glocks and AKs.
I can't think of any gorgeous rifles that just plain suck.

Shit, a .22 can take down a helicopter. Just hit a driveshaft, oil cooler, oil lines, or control linkage.
