Does anyone around here have any pics of a PBM with chrome/silver ROH Drift R's with the following:

17x8 front 18x8 rear or
17x8 front 19x10 rear or
18x8 front 19x10 rear
Just wondering what different size rims would look like. This is the rim I am typing about:

There are a couple of cars on here with them. Personally, I don't think it looks right. The sidewalls on the front are a lot thicker than they are on the rears.

I think that the GTOs rear wheel looks smaller than the front wheel when they are the same size. I believe it's because of the big butt. Anyhow... I called GroupA a week ago about mixing up some Drift-Rs with the 17x8 front and the 18x9 or 10s in the rear. They couldn't accomodate me because they are selling in sets only trying to liquidate what they have. I think the combo would visually look OK. If it makes you feel better, the C6 has 18s in the front and 19s in the rear.

They don't have the same diameter tires, though.

I just Pm'ed them yesterday asking the same thing. I was considering, just a little bit, something like 17's front and 18's rear or 18f/19r.
I think the rake of the car would look good with a little more height in the back. Just need to get matching sized tires so the side walls match up.
Like this? I am not sure with a different sized rim. I took 245 divided by .45 and 275 divided by .40.
245/45/17 (110.25)
275/40/18 (110)

275-35 is the size you want. A 40 series might rub and you can't do anything about it. If you're going to a 17/18 combo I don't think you're the type that wants to drive around with the back jacked up.

With Drift-R's, however, he might be able to get away with it. Maybe not, but we wont know unless someone tries...

Pretty sure lots have tried. It's not the width/offset, but the diameter. The problem area is where the rear bumper meets the fender...you can't grind there.

Not what you asked for but may give you a different idea about sizes?
