Hey guys,

I just threw on a set of Drift Rs (19x8 and 19x10) with some Toyos (245 35 19 and 285 30 19.) I'm getting some slight rubbing in the rear, especially the passenger side. I had my fenders rolled a little, but it only lessened it. I was going to take it back today so they can flare the fenders a bit. The problem is that I noticed the rear passenger side tire sticks out more out of the wheel well than the driver's side, which actually sits in there just about right. The dealer can't explain it after seeing it. Any ideas as to what it is and how to fix this before my fenders are flared? Thanks!

Time for a rear cradle alignment.

Is a rear cradle alignment something the dealer should do under warranty since it should have been correct to begin with? It's sad they couldn't tell me that's what it needed when they saw it yesterday.

Get in touch with someone over at Pedder's. They can give you info for a shop in your area that will do it correctly. I wouldnt even let the dealer near my car for regular service...

It may have been within the dealer's specified range of tolerable misalignment. Thankfully my rear cradle is only off by about 1/16"...but when a friend and I measured his, his was off by closer to 1/4".

Roll of the dice I suppose.
