i'm thinking about buying a wheel package from dagocarlito. he says he had no problem with this size but i wonder if anyone else has. i bought a tire/rim package for an02 nissan altima from discount tire once with the wrong size tires and it was a nightmare. at first i had no problems then when i had back seat passengers it would rub some. finally i guess the springs settled or something and it was awfull. i had to go back to the factory rims:cry::cry:

245/40/18's are the correct size. 245/45/18 would make the complete wheel and tire diameter 24mm (1 inch) taller. Won't work on the front because of the strut and most probably won't work on the rear either.

Not true. I am running 245/45/18's in the front and rear. No rubbing at all in the front. When I hit a MAJOR dip I get a LITTLE rub in the rear, never anything serious.

My car won't even fit 245/40/18s up front (OEM 18s). I tried KDW2's in that size and they hit the front struts.

I'm running 255/35/18s out back and they fit great with no rubbing.

I sure hope you didn't buy those tires.

Im running 245/35/18's, and that has a definite nice look. Plenty of side wall so it doesnt look like a rubber band. The rears are 275/35/18's.

I have 245/45/18's and I have no issues with the back, the front however do rub when I hit a major bump or have more then 2 peps in the car...I think I'm going to be switching to 235's in the front next time around...
