325/50/15 Tires on my GTO!!! FOR REAL [Archive]

Well the car was put back on the ground with the narrowed rear end and 325/50/15 Tires on my Weld ProStar wheels... 15x10 wheels with 5.5" backspacing! And it looks like I will have plenty of room to get my 31x10.5" slicks under the car as well!!! Those will be going on a set of Bogarts or Holeshots, once I decide the exact backspacing I want and all!

The picture quality sucks, but I forgot my camera and we had to use Fernandos... He will have a new camera soon though... LOL

Not sure what you LOLed at... but ok...

No driving... we still have to finish the other minitub and put the transmission back in the car, order a CF driveshaft and fab the turbo kit up.

HAHA... thanks man! I thought maybe it was because of the title with people always asking if its been done and whatnot.

Lots of work went into it... but damn am I happy now!

HAHA... the car doesnt have any seats in it right now. I have my Corbeau FX1 race seats sitting in the office at the shop.

I'm seriously interested in this? Not to get in your business, but what did it cost you, if you can give a ball park or rough estimate?

I did an entire SRA conversion and added minitubs to the car! So yes there was a WHOLE lot of work that went into getting this done.

Well I did all the labor with a couple of buddies in my garage on jackstands... Parts without wheels and tires are over $4k though... And a shop will charge a bundle to do this conversion!

I'm a Special Education teacher in a class for high school students age 17-21 with severe and profound mental retardation and rare and very serious medical conditions. You are welcome to come substitute for me anytime. And my meager teacher's salary doesn't go far, but I wish it could all go toward a big long vacation on a beach somewhere with a cabana boy available at all times.
