Rim question...

Hey guys sorry for the 1,768,768,745 time this question has been asked but....
Would a rim with these dimensions work on the gto:

5x4.75" +56mm offset (7.00" backspacing) 18x8.5"
or
+54mm off set 5x4.75" 17x85"

What offsets would work with our car? I see a set of rims that I want for Christmas but I dont know what offset to look for.

If you are already willing to go with the 4.75 bolt pattern, then I would suggest you get 9.5 not 8.5 for the rear. I am running some Enkei racing wheels that are listed for the Corvette and they are 17x9.5 with a 56 offset.

If you are asking about doing this for all four wheels, then you will need a fairly thick spacer up front, even with the 8.5, as the 56 offset is way too much up front. The spacer will require the longer ARP studs, and I did those on all four as well.
