That is to general of a question. You should follow the instructions that come with the kit. If you don't have them, contact NX directly, they have a great techline if needed.

Call NitroDave....at nitrousoutlet.com...
Get the following:
basic NX wet kit for EFI (single nozzle) for LS1 #20920-10
upgrade to 15 lb bottle #UP215
GENX-2 kit #NX-GEN-XII
custom billet bracket WOT switch (made for GTO specifically) OR the TPAS switch (more expensive and harder to hook up, wire, and adjust)..call Nitro Dave
NX -4 inline nitrous filter w/ 7" line #15607
Go to EBAY and buy a "timing tuner" (made by full throttle speed $229 shipped), this will control the rpm window switch (the point at which the nitrous system will come on and go off at WOT) as well as give you timing retard on the nitrous, which I found I needed 6 degrees at a 150 shot on my GTO. The timing tuner is a great device and will allow for other options, but basically you need the rpm window switch and timing retard.
I will take some pics once I get my WOT switch from Nitro Dave of my system. I installed the bottle to a wood board with velcro on the bottom and shelf liner on top! It comes right off without having any holes in the trunk. I also mounted all the solenoids and stuff with factory bolt holes so I did not drill any holes in the engine compartment as well. I also did a Walboro intank fuel pump to be safe, NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .035-.038 (I did .038 for a 150 shot), and I also put on a homemade CAI that I got the part numbers for from a forum member ($73 total for all parts, easy to install). I had a problem with the dipstck popping out on the 150 shot before i retarded the timing, so I drilled a small hole in the dip stick tube (1-2 inches down from the top) and a hole in the top of the yellow top of the pull out dip stick, and stuck a spring in there to keep tension on it in case it wants to pop out again. I tried a Metco valve cover breather and it made my car throw codes and screwed up the fuel trims (made it go lean Bank1 and Bank2). I put the stock cap back on it and it is fine. I have had some problems with a USED timing tuner I bought, so I bought a new one from ebay and will put it on in a day or two.
Make sure to use low/medium strength loctite on all the fittings and not teflon paste or tape. mke sure to purge the system good before you use it (purge thet lines and solenoids). I didn't get the bottle opener or purge, because I didn't feel I needed them..however I do have them on my Camaro. For a street car I will not spray out of the hole, a purge is not necessary. The bottle opener would be nice, but I just open it before I go out looking for races, so it is no big deal.
I mounted the two included lighted red toggle switches in the little rubber piece in front of the center console (one for bottle heater, one to arm the system). Looks nice and neat.

I have been spraying fro quite a while whith a 150 and no problems so far not even the problem with the oil stick so if you want to be 100 sure nothing is going to happen then go ahead and do the timing retard. Just an opinion, the only problem i have is my bottle running out too quick hehehehe

do you run 150 shot and no timing retard? I asumed I could do the same, but I monitored it and got lots of KR...so I pulled timing...have you evermonitored yours on a nitrous run to see if your getting KR? I put a spring on my dipstick to keep it in place. I know mu USED timing tuner is bad, so I got a new one, should put it on tomorrow and test it then...I hope I don't have to keep pulling 6 degrees on a damn 150 shot...LS1's don't usually need that much retard.
I had a problem with the bottle running out too quickly...I bought a refill station, two 65 lb mother bottles, 4 15 lb. car bottles, deep freer, air compressor...don't have that problem any more!

:driving: Do you guys have some pics of your install so I can get idea on how to instal the kit and how to run the wireing.

Yeap 150 with no problems so far the car runs perfect, i am going to try and post pics of my wiring but if you want to know the best cable to put your switch on is the same one that powers the cigarette lighter
Alex...do you have access to a autotap, EFI Live, or other such monitoring software program? I would love to see what you KR is with teh 150 shot and no retard....I think something is wrong with my car, needing 6 degrees of retard to avoid KR....I put on a homemade CAI and put the IAT in a similar position as stock (between MAF and TB, close to MAF) so I shouldn't be picking up much different readings as far as IAT...I am putting on new timing tuner tonight, maybe this will clear some things up...

i don't have any of these things but i know the car runs beautiful. i have been a nitrous junkie for a few years now on ls1 you are needed to retard your timing after the 150 and i think it's like 2 degrees every 50 hp so check and make sure everything in your car is working perfect. I did a home made intake this week and the T/B bypass but have not refilled yet "wating on friday" so i'll let you know if something changed i also took the little net off my MAF sensor so let's wait and see the results i'll take pics today of my install.
cool...i got my new timing tuner installed and everything works fine, but I get 3.6 KR on teh shift with stock timing and no nitrous....still pulling 6 degrees on 150 shot to get only .9 degree KR....I can't figure why this car is wanting so much timing retard....but I will try to get a dyno tune next week...

why don't you try putting your stock air box back and see if anything changes

are we talking a 150 shot to the wheels or to the flywheel?

alex04gto lets se some pics i still need info on the wiring thxs
I may do a TB bypass to help cool the TB a little....I am not sure about descreening the MAF, heard mixed results on LS1 cars....if I get a tune, I will probably do it then. I ran a 12.5 @ 115 on the juice today, stock tires, etc. I tried -4 instead of -6, and it surged and blew the dipstick up a little even with a spring on it!! It likes -6 timing on the juice for some damn reason. I will get a tune next week hopefully, or on the weekend.

I have descreened a ls1, no problems, with n2o. In '02 the Z06 came screenless and was one of the ways that GM got the hp from 385hp to 405hp. It's a restriction and should be removed for n2o, imo. Two cars screenless with n2o and works great.

The only way a screen is a hinderance is with a dry system...wet kits put the nozzle afte the MAF, before the TB.

True, but it is still a restriction and that is why it was dumped on the Z06, to get better power. I was running dry on both cars. Think of it this way, take a screen and smash into a single thickness and you'll see how much room it's taking. Some guys have problems when making sharp turns (turbulance) and the air needs to be straightened out again. But, if your running after market air intake it should flow more CFM than stock and should eliminate problem?
True, it will get a little power if descreened (possibly need tuning), but I haven't seen it affect a wet kit yet....but still usually a worthwhile mod...
