Yeah, then look at their ranking...18th of 44, with poop for treadwear. Probably not a deal, thus they are mongo cheap!

I have these tires and they are pretty good, no complaints. Plus you can't beat the price.

Es100's were recently replaced with the Yoko S.Drive.

The ES100's had good turn-in and a very sporting character for a tire of its price but its poor mileage and their VERY loud with wear.

Why do Japanese tires always look like they're slick, hard, and coated with Silicone?

I have them in 245-40-18 on front and 275-35-18 on back. The car handles a hell of a lot better now compared to when it had the 235 bridgestones and that's about all I know.
