got my AZA z01's today I ordered them monday. So it took 5 days total. The person I talked on the was very knowledge able and made the order much easier. They each wheel came inside of 2 boxs and foam with a protective skirt on each wheel. they look good. 2 of the wheels have some minor runs/wrinks in the hyperlite paint/coating in the corners nothing bad. Very good for what they cost.

Just thought I would write this since I was a little afraid to order from wheelmax after some of the comments I saw about them ut my overall transaction went well

did your lugnuts come in a different box altogether then the wheels. I just noticed I didn't get my hub centric rings. I also didn't get an invoice. I guess there is another box coming. Maybe from UPS. the wheels where from fedex

Got my AZA-Z01's from Wheelmax for Christmas. The lugnuts came loose in the box containing one of the front wheels. Seems they busted out of their smaller carton and rolled around during their trip up from Florida. There are dings and chips all over the wheel.

The good news is that Sean at Wheelmax is replacing the wheel under warranty. I'm waiting for the Fedex call tag. Fingers are crossed...

I didn't get my hub centric rings.

Are those the little black rings? What are they for? I got my wheels for X-mas also. My lugnuts came in a small triangle box in with one of the rim boxes. All in all I am very happy with them. I did notice some little marks in the paint but I guess that comes with cheaper wheels.

lol i remember when your lugnuts got lost in the mail jeff it took them like a month to get them to ya... and when your bodykit for the wrx was stuck in customs for 2 or 3 months oh and waiting on your clutch and oh the most recent one waiting forever for your coils lol... jeff (jacket) doesnt have very much luck with any mail service

The little black centric rings in the kit are to keep the wheels center on the axle and to keep any corrosion or rust from stock rotors from transferring to the wheel. good to use but.... not many people use them...not to mention half the time you can't get them to seat properly. i gotta order 2 new rims cause of damn potholes... jacked them all up
Bought my rims from wheelmax and all was well. the service was good too my valve stems even rotted out in 6 months, they sent me 8 new ones within a week of calling them...swapped them out and riding straight since..

So they did come for you. Well I still haven't gotten another box. I know I told the guy I wanted them. I'm pretty sure he charged me for them but I also got no invoice so I don't know. I guess they should be back open I'll call them

Crap. Now they tell me they are out of the 18"x8.5" AZA-Z01 so I'll have to wait for the next shipment from overseas to replace the wheel damaged in shipment. The thing is this could have been avoided if they would have taped the damn box of lugnuts shut. It took six calls to Sean at Wheelmax to finally get this answer.

So far I'm not impressed with Wheelmax.

Shit happens. As long as they're taking care of you I don't see why you are complaining. At least I hope they're taking care of it lol.

The last time they ran out of AZA-Z1s it took at least nine months before they had them again. Good luck. You will need it with Wheelmax. It's a real crapshoot ordering anything from them.

I ended up taking a full credit for the damaged wheel and touched up the dings with some model paint. With the Christmas discount I only ended up paying $405+ shipping for all four wheels!

FWIW, Testors Model Master "Silver Chrome Trim" paint is about a perfect match for the hyper silver finish.

With these hub rings... are you saying that you need them to make sure that the wheels bolt on centered? Do the rings carry some kind of load or are you relying on how hard you torque the lug nuts to keep the wheel on? No wonder you ruin wheels if you hit a pothole with this system... I was thinking of getting some of these wheels but not if that's the deal.
