I aquired a set of staggard 18" Drift R's from another forum member, they are 8" up front and 10" out back, and am now looking for the right tire combo. I have searched the forums and know that most people with these wheels are doing 275's in the rear, and 245's on the front. I would like to push the envelope a bit and go, with 285's in the rear, and 255's in the front. I plan to go with the Toyo T1R's. After looking fevereshly for the offsets on the Drift R's I think I finaly found them, it is stamped on the back side lip. It looks like the fronts are +41 and rear are +49. My question is has anyone done this? I have seen that there are several folks who have done the 285's, but I can't seem to find anyone who has done the above combo. I do plan to roll the fenders, as I have an Eastwood fender roller coming.

Looking for input.....:coffee:

I've got 285/35s on the rear but 245s on the front. Seems like I've seen someone post that has 255s on the front but I'm not sure. With 245s I have plenty of room. On the rear ,rolling may be fine to fit 285s but I cut mine and had to go back and cut more where the lip and the bumper meet because there was still some contact there. Never heard it but the paint was rubbed off in this spot and I dont think you can roll it that far if needed. I had no problems after this and have now installed Pedders drag springs and shocks so the rear doesn't sag anymore. I did have to cut some of the plastic liner on the inside of the drivers side also. Good luck!
