I have done the search and found different answers. I just purchased a set of TSW Nogaro's 18 x 8 with the 40mm offset and I was wondering if 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 is the correct size. I do not want to roll my fenders or have any kind of rub. Could someone tell me which is the correct size tire? Thanks

I had my stock 235 40 18's put on my 18 x 8 Nogaros. It looks like 245's would rub on a lowered GTO.

But I would like to see the consensus on this one. :coffee:

Does the lip of the wheel show at all with the 235's?

Does anyone know an answer for sure on this? I need to order a new set of tires and I want to make sure to get the correct ones. Thanks!

On an 8" rim with +40 offset...either size {235 or 245} will work without any rubbing problems.

245's will work on the front for sure, that is what I have. I have 9" rims with 275's n the back so I can't help you there.

Good Luck!

I've got 245's all around. They work perfectly w/ no rubbing front or rear.

I have the Nogaros 17x8" 40mm offset and 245s and have no problem. I think I have some strut rub in the front but that is no suprise. I'm almost positive it was rubbing from the start as I am running the same sizes as stock. But these wheels look killer and they are a heck of a lot lighter than my stock chrome 17s!!!

245s in front, bigger in back hopefully but 245/40's will work all around
