Cutting tailpipe opening on RMR GTO bumper

RMR guys, what's the best way to cut your bumper to make room for the stock 05-06, 3 1/5 inch round exhaust tips?

Do I grind with a diamond tip grinder or can I just cut off what I don't need to make room?

i used an air powerd cutting wheel hand tool, like a 2.5 inch diameter one. i paper taped off alll the area i was cutting first just so the clear didnt crack when i cut into it
