You have to stop posting pics of your car. Because of you I could end up spending too much on my car. Oh well, who am I kidding you can't spend too much on a car!

Looks awesome!

What offsets and any rubbing?

What offsets and any rubbing?

Don't know the offsets. There was very slight rubbing on hard acceleration in the rear. I had the rear fender lips trimmed and all is good now. I have a staggared set of wheels with 18x8 and 18x9. 275/35 Goodyear F-1's in rear.

I am glad they didn't use any greater offset so I could minimize how much of the staggared look I would lose. There is enough room to increase off set more and avoid rubbing but I am glad they didn't.

I will ask iForged what they used for offsets and post when I find out.

Looks sweet man. Have you thought about any black accents to the body? (You know to compliment the wheels?) I think a pinstripe or something of the sort would look tight. (Although I personally haven't found one that I'm thrilled about yet.)

He has the new Bassani exhaust proto-type. Bassani is now working on making the cat-back for all of us to have. Trust me, I'm all on top of this exhaust right now because I'm hard-pressed to hear a good quality audio file of what it sounds like. Too bad on the file he posted his crappy (just kidding) supercharger is about as loud as his exhaust. Bassani makes great stuff so I'm holding off on ordering my Corsa until I hear what this thing sound like. Not to thread-jack, but any drone with your new exhaust??

Anyhow, AWESOME looking wheels. The wheels go perfect with the Wilwoods setup you have. Great stuff man!

Good eyes..... that is the new Bassani cat back system. Should be released in a week or so. No idea on price. I have posted elsewhere.. love the sound, very unique. I think it sounds somewhat Ferrari... ish. More mechanical than thunderous like most. I tried to post sound clip but didn't come out true to actual sound.

Pictures HERE (https://ishare.ucr.edu/larry/Public/GTO/Bassani/i ndex.html ) if you want to take a peek under car. Pictures were taken at Bassani, not by me, so they are pretty fuzzy.

Yes... things that I have actually seen and like are.....
Window tinting
Blk 427 tailights

But I agree, need to carry the black theme a little further.

I met with the designer originally and he told me they had gone back and forth between this design and one with additional resonators. The one with resonators was very tame very quiet. The one without the resonators really made a unique distinct statement. When that car arrives, you know it, sort of a thing. They decided to go with the more distinctive design.

For reference, I am 53, always have had fast cars with exhausts and hate ones that drone. The bad news is this does drone, just a little. The good news is two fold. It sounds so damn good I just don't care. And the drone is quite subdued in my opinion, and quite tolerable, even for an old man like me. At freeway speeds you don't hear it. Only around 2K - 3K slight throttle in lower gears. Bottomline ... .. you do get a slight bit of resonance but it is unlike the ear shattering drone that precludes converstaions and prevents listening to music. You can do all that with this system. I will be at the Shift Light Extravaganza on April 30 in SoCal for all that want to hear and ride. Also if anyone has a camera maybe you could make some decent sound files for me.

Damn, I wish my dad had taste like you. Haha. Too bad about the drone on the exhaust but I agree with you..... if it sounds that darn good in your opinion then a hair of drone and resonance is worth the price.

I'm kind of skeptical about how that system would sound with headers. I have some Kooks w/cats here waiting to be installed when I decide on my cat-back, and I don't want anything that's going to be horribly loud. I think a few of these companies should make a setup for those of us running full length headers and such. Like maybe add a resonator or something to the system. Maybe Bassani will come up with something if we're lucky or if we have enough interest.

But someone with some good equipment needs to catch up with you and get us some good video and/or audio clips of this exhaust. Idle, low revs, and high revs would be great to hear.

An another note, I think your particular car (with those wheels) would look great with AutoCross Grilles. Maybe you can get someone to Photoshop you some of those grilles in a few different colors (ie: black, gray, and/or red) and see if you like it. Well keep that car nice looking and keep us up to date with your mods!

Yes, please do... I'm having custom wheels made right now from another company and I really like the stance yours has with that setup. Mine are also 18x8 / 18x9's but are a 2 piece forged wheel from ZE Forged but a fairly similar design. I'm having mine done a light gunmetal finish.

I just drove it 100+ miles back to Vortech today. It does not really drone. It sort of trumpets between 2k and 3K and it is quite tolerable. I paid close attention.... drone is not the right word.

Thanks.... my son loves the car and already has been working on it.

The black wheels are hot... now all you need to do is move out of CA and tint your windows dark to match... that would look great

why are the fog lights yellow?

When I took my car in to get clearbra installer asked if I wanted to do something to give it a little different look ..... I said Ok. It has Xpel Clear system covering every painted surface facing forward. This includes front facia, mirrors and it also includes the lenses for all the lights, we just used yellow for the lower lights to give a distinctive look.

Those do look great. I would definitly consider those for mine. What was the damage if you dont mind me asking? And about the tint, normally I would say screw it and do it anyway. But I just got a fix it ticket for my front windows (20%). So I need to have it taken off, and checked out.

But of course, it looks too good tinted, so Ill have it put back on after. I figure it had to be a freak thing.

What did it cost to get your front end done with the clearbra? I was thinking about doing that back when I had to get my hood painted but they said to wait at least 90 days to let the paint air out some.

600. Full front facia, all lenses and mirrors. From point of hood it reaches back 24 inches. xpel product
