Looked at the vids for the G6 and the new Buick also. Looks like they're trending away from the supercharged 3800, and going for higher tech multi-valve and VVT in their high performance V6 FWD. An Olds guy a few years ago told me that would happen because the 3800, great as it is, will not be able to meet future EPA targets.

I have a hard time believing this as of '00 the L36 (non-supercharged) is ULEV rated.
