My car stays in the garage during the winter, but i've noticed since the cold weather has set in, my CEL comes on,and when i scan it, it comes up reading Bank1 and 2 running rich. Only time the car runs right now is in the garage or driveway. Not driven, due to bad weather and a bad clutch. Any ideas on why this code comes up? Maybe just because of the cold weather? When i clear the codes, they come back up then next time i start the car.

No simple suggestions from anyone? i think it's just the cold weather, i'll just call up FLP, and ask them.

Sounds like it is too rich obviously. In the tune more than likely.

the cold temp fuel tables are set to rich for the colder weather , would be my guess

Which tables are you referring to? I have yet to find an enrichment based on ECT table in HPT, does it not exist or am I not looking in the right place?

my cav had coolant related , and i seam to remember cold start enrichment
i havent messed with the gto's pcm , but it seams to me there should be coolant related tables

That's a step in the right direction, i was basically wondering why the tune would trigger this, besides just cold weather being the answer. I was wondering what part of a tune could cause this.

I just went through my HPT and did not find anything coolant related for fueling aside from IAT vs. injector flow rate. There has to be something though you'd think..
Anyway, I don't understand why that was even touched, it shouldn't need it. I was wondering if maybe the VE is too rich and/or the IFR is off as it is and when it's cold and going into enrichment, it is just pushing it over the edge and throwing a code. Hard to tell for certain over the net without logs, tune, etc.

I had the same problems. I was told by a local tuner that your o2 sensors are still running on stock perameters and with forced induction you tend to dip above and below what the stock ranges would be for a N/A car. I asked him how to correct that he said go with a stand alone system but he said that it was nothing to worry about aslong as I had the correct tune to coinside with the set up.

Cool, also due to the extreme low temps inducted by intercooler and mixed with very cold outside weather, that's basically why i thought it would throw that code. I noticed a couple times it only throws Bank 1 side, not both. Like i said, only had them come up since the weather turned cold. Haven't talked to FLP yet, i'll be going by there in a week or so, i'll just ask them when i go in.
