I've been thinking a little more about nitrous lately. But when it comes to this, I am a total newb. So I thought I would get a little poll going to see what everyone else liked and why.

If you post, please list all the accessories(window switches, bigger fuel pumps, injectors, etc) that you have with your set-up, how big of a shot ,wet or dry, and any "special" problems that encountered.

Thanks, Jason

Jason I don't think I would be much help but...the last time i used Nitrous was 1990 on my 1985 Mustang GT(10.90s @127mph was fast back then)...i think the only game in town was NOS + alot of luck...i experimented a bit with the MSD6AL's rpm switching but with 10'' slicks,a 9'' rear end(4:30 detroit locker) and world class T-5... i found that if you just turn it on with WOT switch & hang on it would go much faster then w/ all the electronic controllers...that car loved nitrous(175-shot) because it only ran 12.40's @ 114 on the motor(cam, heads, 830 cfm carb) :burnout:

I have experience with both NX and Zex, but not with Domestics. I will say that I like what NX offers for our cars! Otherwise I am not voting, because I have no real life experience with it on any sort of V8!

I voted NX, I had a 150shot EFI setup on my 2002 Dodge Dakota R/T RC, with a few other mods (ie: Hooker LT Headers, CAI, 52mm TB) I ran a best of a 12.97 @ 106.mph. I had it triggered on a WOT switch and would only engage it after shifting into 2nd gear. If I flipped the juice on anywhere in 1st it was a smoke show... and would boil the tires so hard you wouldnt really get moving. Off the juice the truck would run consistant 14.4X's. It was totally worth the money... I plan on getting some for my goat after heads/cam/tune.

I think everyone knows what i voted for. :)

i went with zex because of the ease of integration in the fast manifold. i also liked getting everything from one spot. i also liked the activation being integrated into the TPS instead of a manual WOT switch.

75-300 direct port shot adjustable. i got all the goodies : bottle warmer, opener, purge, guage etc...

i use the timing tuner for delayed activation, window switches, and timing retard.
