expand you horizons man! There's so many great guns out there that shoot 9mm and for the cost of the EMP you can probably buy 2 9mms

Funny, I took a break from gun cleaning to hit the forum for a minute and find this thread. I've done my Colt .45, Colt Python and the Desert Eagle .50, now its on to the smaller stuff. :)

Anyway, this is more my speed, http://www.galleryofguns.com/gunlocator/gunsearch/ Product.asp?item_num=PX9628LP&other_page=true

They are really nice, and I had even considered one a few months ago. I did a lot of reading and the first generation had a LOT of serious issues. I do not know if they are resolved yet though. If you visit http://forums.1911forum.com/ there is a SA section there, and they are always willing to give some great info (without screaming "use search newbie" all the time).

It is a sexy looking gun, but a bit pricey. For a subcompact 9mm I prefer the Glock 26 myself. I don't carry subcompacts normally so I stick with my HK P30 or P7M8.

I had a Kimber Eclipse Pro II. Went back to Kimber TWICE and still came back defective so I gave up.

When you get a good Kimber, damn you get the best... but sometimes it is a crapshoot with them.

Here was my baby:

Now that I have my HK45 i don't care about any 1911's anymore, but I think I will still be buying a Nighthawk this year.

wolf: Nice pick. I like the price of the 9mm ammo, the accuracy and the all around fun of a 9

Heres my Springfield Armory XD-40 Sub-Compact:

Oh and to the dude who posted the pic of 9mm being lame; funny pic but women-like ammo or not, I don't want to get hit by a 9mm....Oh and if your so manly, how come you picked a weak (412 ft/lbs) .45ACP over the harder hitting and faster flying (447 ft/lbs) .40 S&W?????? I keed, I keed....just have to bring it up when .45 people pick on others :D

Both the Mustang and that Raptor are excellent carry guns. The 9mm isn't going to best either of them. The Mustang is small and with the right round packs a decent punch. The small .45... well, its almost perfect. :D

Just stating the truth

I actually would love to get one. But I only have room for 1 mini in my collection, and that one is not it.

My most recent purchase was a SW9VE. It was prefect for some cheap trigger time. Only complaint is the hefty trigger pull.

Doesn't Kimber make 9mm? I mean, you can stay in the Kimber family.
