Do you have to ride with the bags full all the time or will the tires tuck under normal driving?

I agree - nice rims that look good on black (I'm not usually a fan of gloss black rims).... but that rear end does look high.

Could you please check the offset that is inprinted on the inside of the rim when you take them off for grinding?

They are all +45. China made a mistake and sent all the R280s in +40 (it will say +40 if you can read it in the back) but i had them all shaved to +45 this one time for free for i know it does not work on most GTOs if left +40. So to answer your question it is +45. As long as it does not rub nor give you a hard time you should not worry about it. I stated this same thing to
BaDaSsGoAt before he purchased his setup. He wanted a +48 and i told him we could not do it on the R280s because of what i have explained above.. As long as you roll your fenders, it will work fine.
Enjoy your weekend!
Post pictures once you lower it!

very tru.. rick told me that....and i talked to a few wheel peopel to confirm....that the 45's will fit as logn as the fenders are rolled or cut.... the tire is the big deciding factor....and as we all know TIRES ARE A BITCH TO FIGURE OUT if you do not knwo what you are doing....i had to teach myself...but my set up will consist of the same as the one shown above....i will roll fenders add grag springs and run bfgkdw2 365/30/19 they shoudl fift like aglove

Ah ok.. Thanks god, didn't really want to deal with exchanging them.. Why do they seem to stick out further than other wheels, i thought most other wheels were 45mm offsets too, not positive so correct me if i'm wrong
NickC
02-02-2008, 04:50 PM
Forgive me for what I'm about to say but those wheels look atrocious on your car. Your back end is jacked up sky high in its current configuration, and whoever sold you wheels that stick out that far deserves to be flogged. If somebody sold me those wheels saying they are the proper fit, I'd be loading up the guns right now.
That car looks dangerous to drive with those wheels popping out so much. Those wheels really need to come off man.

thanks nick.. now get out.. just kidding, but now that i have my fenders cut.. ill let the air out of the bags and see how it looks.. I think its just cause my rear is so high is why it looks funny.. heres a pic with the ruff 281s.. does it look normall to yall?

I'm really thinking about jumping on a set of these.... Da beast, do you rub in the front? and do you rub in the rear with trimmed fenders? I saw your sig said it will rub in the rear, but is that with or without trimmed fenders?
OP, your car looks great
