Last I new, yes. The 235's are much smaller in width. The rim looks to be wider than the tire.

Is the wear in the picture posted by user GTOguy caused by strut rub, or just bad alignment? I thought the strut rub was more on the inner sidewall of the tire.

I want in if possible.
I went through the GM help line as far as they tell me I can go through them.
I'd just like to have my car driveable again :(.

I just found out today (when I logged into mygmlink) that the dealer that fixed my strut rub (see my poste earlier in this thread around pg 2) INVERTED THE FRONT SPRINGS. THey never told me what they did but the note the service writer put in the system is that the inverted the springs. Thats why they had to order the strut tower bolts and nuts. WTF. nothing about it on my paperwork. Cripes.

I have done this a lot. There is a bulletin about a noise concern that tells us to do it. I cannot explain why the dealership did not mention it, but it is a common, good practice on many suspension concerns.

Hope this helps

good to know that its OK to do because the dealership is one of the better ones in the baltimore/DC area. Thanks
