After placing an order Saturday for some TSW chrome wheels, I got a call this morning from the sales guy at Discount Tire. He said the wheels I ordered were not currently available in chrome due to the fact that the lug pattern is fairly unique (GTO & Mercedes only) and that TSW won't make a run of the chrome version until they have a sufficient number of orders. He said TSW told him they could not say when the next production run would be. So, he said if I really wanted this particular wheel, he could order the silver version and send it to California Chrome to have it plated. Instead of having the wheels here by this weekend, it will take between 2 and 3 weeks. He said California Chrome is a quality outfit that does great work. Have any of you ever had any work done by this place or have you ever heard anything about them?

Which model of wheel is this? There are lots of places that you can get wheels from. Why not get exactly what you want from someplace else?
