Had no idea rim's also had key's this day for the lugnuts, guess it's a good thing though so they don't get stolen..

Anyone know where I could find a key for the rims?
I have 18" Driv Vixen's

The thoughtful dealer (who also took 2 and half weeks and a two threats to sue to send the title in the mail) decided not to include the lugnut key so now a simple tire rotation, or flat tire replacement, cannot be performed.

any tire place or dealership should be able to pull the ones off, then go get yourself a new set.

Rims don't have keys. Locking lug nuts have keys, lug nuts have nothing to do with the manufacturer of the rim. You'll need to find out who makes the lug nuts that are on there and contact them to get a replacement key. Or you'll need to use bolt extractors to get them off.

Something like these, only problem is trying to fit them in the small lug nut holes on the rim.

keyed lugnuts have been around for years and years, where have you been?:sneaky:

your best bet is to drive the car to a tire place and have them look at them. they might be able to tell without even having to take them off the car

bang a socket on it and twist it off. This is all the tire shop is going to do. When I worked for goodyear the kit was just a heavy duty socket you hammerd on and took it off with a impact or 1/2" rachet.

Almost any store that sells automotive tools sells lug removal tools. Sears, NAPA, Autozone, etc.

BTW, the thing in your picture is a wheel. The outer edge of the wheel is the rim. "Wheel" and "Rim" are not synonymous.

Yeah, take it to a tire shop, ask them to remove it, then just buy a new set of locking lugs (with key) from them.

Jesus, you're on a crusade about the word "rim" today, aren't you? Really bugs you huh? This is the second thread you've nitpicked.
