Shifter Noise...

Anyone else able to hear the shifter when your walking it through the gears with the clutch pushed in and the door open? Car is off having just taken a half hour drive. I just noticed that it seemed louder than normal today? I don't remember it being that loud before. It doesn't seem to effect the car while driving (i.e it shifts fine), but I didn't expect it to be that loud. Any thoughts?

Noise is normal as all the linkages, synchro's and shafts move and realign.

Thanks, I figured as much, but I like the reassurance. I think it was amplified because I was in a parking garage near one of concrete walls.

Well, I brought it into the dealer today, mentioned the noise about the shifter. They checked and it was half a quart low. They filled it up and it is much better.
