Found some beautiful Enkei Fittipaldi Force wheels (of course discontinued) and of course he only has 3. He said he brought the 4th to a local tire shop and the guy said it's unfixable...I'm not great with "wheel terminology" so the tire shop guys said this: "One bead edge is cracked and an area of the width is slightly crushed" LOL so I'm prob. going to get flamed but I want to make perfectly sure this wheel is truely garbage and there is no possible way to fix it. Do I understand what he's saying...yes to a point lol. These are beautiful wheels :banghead: wish they weren't discontinued. Thanks.

Anything can be fixed just how much will it cost!
Take it to a "real" rim repair shop see what they say.
option 2 scourer(sp?) ebay, classifieds etc. for same rim
Hope that helps.

He has the 4th wheel, I can have it....out of curiousity Mike if you know the answer, what is the "cost" of fixing something like this if like you say anything is fixable. Thanks!! The wheels have been discontinued for a long time...I've been search for a few hrs.

Cost depends on shop and extent of damage.
Guesstimate $80-$150 range.

Yeah just talked to the guy at the shop...if the crack is on the back of the rim it can be welded, if the crack is on the front, nothing they can do...keeping my fingers crossed while I hear back from the seller.

It sounds like the wheel has a flat spot and it's cracked near/on it. It probably isn't even worth fixing.

nothing they can do...
There's always someone else.

Thanks...the guy will be sending a pic of the wheel so I'll post it up and see what you all think. Thanks.

I damaged an aftermarket rim several years ago, and the shop here in Dallas told me the same think - said that since it was cracked, both on the bead lip and in the section width, it couldn't be fixed. This was NOT the most professional wheel shop by any means, so I will echo what others have said - try another shop.

Were you able to get the wheel fixed? Thanks. The damage you describe above is exactly what is wrong. Is this "kind" of damage bad, etc.? Thank you!!!

Well the front two rims are in good shape but wow...the rear 2 wheels are in rough f'in shape...look like they've been through a meat grinder. These are too beat up/mangled for me. Judging by the crack on the rim...does anyone think it is even worth it to try it?

LOL..if anyone wants these (tires are beat to sh*t also, are not included)..LMK I can get you in contact with the guy..you can pretty much have them for nothing. Shame they are so beat...even though they look like AZA z-01's they are still nice wheels.

Yeah...talk about curb rash...shame because the front 2 are in good condition..that wheel would need to be completely repaired, refinished, etc. Heck to fix that wheel, if possible, would prob. run around $150-200or so. Shame you can't find them anymore...

I had Wheel Techniques (http://www.wheeltechniques.com/wheelrepair.html) in San Jose, Calif repair a wheel from a 94 Mustang GT that had similar damage. Came out looking like new. Fact is, for the cost of the repair I could've bought one new from Ford.
