18" TSW Indy 500's are on!

finally had my set of wheels and tires from VQ together after fedex sent my front left wheel to texas:rolleyes:

18x8 245/40/18F, 18x9.5 265/35/18R. tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE01R's. even before they're broken in, i can tell they're sticky as hell for a street tire. unfortunetly, the tires arent made in 275, so 265 it was. woulda gotten a 285 if they made that, but alas, they dont. the offsets right from TSW are 35/45, but VQ milled each of the wheels 3mm making them 38/48.

also, dont mind the masking tape on the exhaust tip...long story...

well, they're finally on! excuse the dirty car. and i must say, me likey.

the tape? well, night can kinda answer that one:wall:

we had a little impromptu get together at hooters like a week or so ago, and well, after we were done, we walked outside, and everyone noticed my exhuast tip was severely misaligned. long story short, the pipe fell off:shiner: i put on the tape to keep from banging up the tip while i was putting it back on. and for some reason, cant really get the rest of the tape off and have had no ambition to get the rest of it off lately:wiggle:

lightly rolled with +5/16 pedders springs. my last wheels were 18x9.5 46mm offset running 275/35/18 BFGs and the only time ive rubbed with those was with a fully loaded trunk, 3 people in the car, and hitting a big dip on the highway. and even then it was a very light scrape. barely left a mark on the tire. id say my setup works:shiner:
