GTO in Canada for CaNaDiAn GTO (And it's in Ontario too!)

Yes some 04's and 05's were sold in Southern Ontario before the RIV could put them on the inadmissible list, that would be one of them.

Its not on there website so it is probably sold...Even if it was not He was probably asking 40,000+ CDN plus Tax (Example: Brand new bonneville sells for 57k) Also there is no Pontiac dealer within a good distance that will service the car. Could go to the one In Michigan that is 10min away but that could cause problems according to the border which i just found out.

My only hope is that the 08 GTO is sold in Canada.

That would really bite, buy a car and can't get service for warrenty even though a dealer in 10 min away but in the US.

I do know a guy that just got screwed becuase he bought a Canadian Caddy a few years ago. Imported fine, then NY changed the inspection laws to make you scan the computer. He went to get the car inspected and it failed because it had a canada spec program in the ECU. He had to buy a new computer for it.

Ok honestly, I have no idea where people were getting that ANY new GTO's were actually sold by a Canadian dealer. No cars were ever ordered or shipped to Canada, some were brought INTO Canada by individuals, this is a good example of that. This car was bought by a GM employee (or someone else that got real GMS) in MO.

Well my brother sees GTO's with Canadian plates in southern ontario all the time. He has also seen brand new GTO's sitting on a lot in London, Ontario. No he didnt mistake it for something else because he was standing right next to it. My brother is not the lieing type either. If they were shipped there or brought there i have no idea.

How the hell did that GTO get in Canada if it was bought in MO????????????????? You cannot get them across the border once the RIV puts them on the inadmissble list. It just wont happen.
