Finally changed out the stock KDWS tires. First impression of the new tires is they are way softer. They lean a little more in the corners, but still grab really well. The traction is night and day from the stockers, and they much more quiet on the road.

I also had the struts pulled and replaced the strut mount bushings and strut bearings with parts from Pedders, and then had a four wheel alignment done. Both strut mounts were collapsed a little and one of the bearings was completely crushed and the bearings were all over the place on the top of the strut.

I also have no more wheel shake..........

About $850 for the tires and install. I ended up ordering them from Tirerack because they were cheaper and the shop didn't have any in the warehouse.

Nice, just watch 'em in cooler weather. They lose a good bit of grip.

After about 500 miles with these new tires I am amazed. The grip is awesome; I can barely even spin my tires now. The ride is much softer, then do lean a little more in the corners, but no wheel hop and I can just mash the pedal and go.

I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great summer tire, plus they weight 2lb lighter than the stock KDWS, so that is 8 extra pounds off the car.

I had these on one of my previous cars, and I was also really impressed with them.
