Does anyone on here have one? I am about to build one from Alexander Arms and wanted to see what anyone thought about theirs? I have decided to go with it instead of the .458 Socom.

I've shot one quite a bit. An employee at my old job had one and we'd use it to lay waste to Coyotes.

If your used to shooting .223 in the AR platform, standbye for some added recoil. I think a decent group at 100 is right at about an inch or so. Not too shabby I guess considering its a flying trash can in the air.

You might post the question on the 65Grendel.com
Some of the people there have both calibers since the same guy designed both.
I only have a Grendel.

I have both the 6.5 grendel and 50 beowulf. Be prepared to wait a very long time for anything beowulf. There is constantly a shortage. The best thing you can do is start reloading. You can expect months for loaded ammo from alexander arms. The 50 beowulf is a very fun round which will destroy just about anything(short of steel plates, etc)
Go to the 50beowulf.com forum for more info.

I feel ya there. I go out with a friend alot and shoot his .50 BMG, and everytime we pull the trigger is about $5 and he just buys more.
