800.00 For LS1GTO members.
This is my 1998 GT LTS Full suspension MTB. I bought this Early 1999, and rode it about 15 times around Lake Tahoe, and the Downieville Downhill, in California. Since then it has only been ridden on the road, with my 2 boys. I put SPIN wheels on it, and upgraded the rear derailer, as well as the rear shock. This bike rides like a cadillac. One of the best full suspension bikes I have ever ridden. Unfortunately I have to sell it, or I would keep it. On to the details, This was the last year of this design before GT went with their floating bottom bracket XCR series MTBs. They should have kept this one around for a few more years. Also I still have all the documenation for the Marzocchi Z1Bam forks as well as the Spin wheels.
4" inches of rear wheel travel. Notice the 4 link suspension, which keeps the rear wheel always in line with the frame, it does not pivot like the FSR's did which would slacken the chain.
120 MM of front fork travel out of the Marzocchi Z1 BAM
Astro Riser Handlebars
Kore Stem
Aheadset brand headset
Shimano LX Levers/Shifters (24 speed) The shifters are seperate from the levers so it would be easy to upgrade the pods if the need would arise.
Shimano LX Crankset
Shimano LX Front derailer
XTR Bottom Bracket
Rock Shox Coupe Delux rear shock (never been on dirt)
Shimano XTR Reverse pull rear derailer
Spin composite wheels. True as the day I bought them ($575.00 brand new), complete with a Titanium XTR Cogset.
Newer tires, WTB Velociraptors
WTB Kevlar shielded saddle
GT Seat post
16" ARC Technology Frameset. This is probably the coolest featur of this bike, no matter how tall you are the way the seat tube is bent, the ride will always be the same distance from the handlebars. I am 5'8 and somone who is 5'10 would have the same distance to the handlebars.
The frame is made in the USA and its built from 6061 Aluminum.
The auction is on Ebay...
