i am considering getting wheels and pretty stuck on the tsw indy 500s although i have yet to see them on a gto. problem is i cant decide on size and offset. i do not want to go with 19s so its either 17s or 18s. i do not have my fenders rolled nor do i really want to. i do however have drag bags so that should help out some. i like the lip look of these wheels so i kind of the front and rear to be similar. any help deciding would be greatly appreciated!

I think most people are ignoring this thread because there are a hundreds on this subject already.
To get the deep lip look, you'll probably need a 9.5 inch or wider wheel. In this case it will probably need to be staggered (more narrow wheel in front).
I put 8 " 245/35/19s on front and 9.5" 265/30/19 on the rear. I had almost no rubbing (would touch a bit on big dips) with no suspension or rolling. I would assume going with 18's would be even better. It really depends on your car.
Send VQ motoring a PM. They will tell you exactly what you need and they are pretty quick about getting back to you.

i appreciate your reply. i will probably go with 18s,i can get a really good deal on the wheels through my work but i think the vendor only has them in 8 inch wide +35 offset. i just dont know how the car would look with this particular configuration.

I'm not sure what wheel you're going for, but pics might be available here http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2208 42 if you haven't already discovered it.
A +48 is optimal on the rear on a GTO. It depends on what type of wheel if a +35 will work.
I would still send VQ motoring a PM. You don't necessarily have to buy from them to get sized up right and get a price quote. Those guys have a lot of experience with GTOs.
