Ok here is whats going on. I had new tires put on my car about 3 months ago. They are Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires. But when make either a right or left turn I notice a noise that sounds simular driving over a bridge with a steel grating. It is very faint The front tires still have what I guess are the molding feeler looking things on the inside and outside radius of the tire and I was think that perhapes these could be the cause?? But driving strait and making lane changes no sound. Does anyone else on here have or had these tires notice something simular??

Awesome response. Some of the more expensive tires are noisy too.

Sounds like it's just tire noise.

Every tire has different noise. From what I read, the Falkens were fairly noisy tires.

Are you sure it's not strut rub?

but this isn't where that is applicable.

a lot of the higher end tires are actually louder than cheaper ones, because they don't want to comprimise their performance for the sake of noise. a family car tire will be made for comfort and noise quality before handling purposes, and with a performance tire, a lot of times those roles are reversed
