Ok I have a set of Gianelle Spezia 5 rims I use for shows, but the stock 17s are what I drive everyday on. One of the stock rims is bubbling and peeling around the center cap. so I'm gonna have them sandblasted and powdercoated. I wanna dress them up and make them a little more showy. My car is cosmos purple and I have chosen flourescent green as my accent color. The color accent mods are in the works already, I'm curently gathering parts to do lighting mods in the engine bay and have already bought the One Shot paint for the pinstriping and airbrush work.

I guess my question is really whether I should paint the calipers the same color as the wheel body accents and re-decalling them OR leave them red? My own opinion seems to be leaning toward repainting them the same color as the wheels. Visual aids are below!

OPINIONS please!

heres the colored rims with red calipers

OR make them match (Image of caliper is shaded to show depth only), calipers will be the same color as the green on the rims.

Calipers red, and kill the flourescent green-goo color! I'm sorry man, purple, black, silver and green don't mix, except with the 80's dress code.

I would make the calipers purple like the body.

Why are you leaving any silver parts on the wheel though?

im with the other post leave the green OUT. it wont work. i think you want something diff. something to stand out. but then the red calipers might stick out and look funky. go with a dark color bc the car is purple use any color that almost looks black but isn't in the sun. the only way you could use the green would be to add some accenting green lighting somewhere else on the car

He didn't want your opinions of the green color. Have you thought about yellow? The red won't go with the green thats for sure. I would go with body color match or yellow. Not green, it will be too much.
