Listen I know that these questions are asked all the time, but I need some quick help. I have a buddy that will be getting rid of his wheels and he is giving me a chance to buy them before someone else who has already offered. I can't make much since out of some of my searches so maybe someone out there can answer this. The wheels are 19x8.5 with a 35 offset and the rears are 19x9.5 with a 40 offset. The tires are 225/35 up front and 245/35 in the rear. He had these wheels on a 3 series and so I know the bolt pattern works. I am not sure about anything else though. My suspension is stock and I have done nothing with the fenders. Am I going to be able to use these wheels without any problems or am I wasting my time? Any help would be very much appreciated.

what are the bolt pattern on the 3 series? 5x120?

The bolt pattern, offsets and tire width should all be fine.

The rear offsets are a tad-bit shallow, but they shouldn't rub on you. Although, I'm giving you my opinion for 18" rims. I don't have any experience with 19's.

Any other opinions out there? I don't want to waste my money and time is a little bit of an issue. The wheels could be gone tomorrow!

I was just over a friend's house this weekend and he was working on an M3 and it had 225s on the front. those are a small tire

also, those tires are WAY undersized for those rims. I don't think that it even looks right with tires that small

You really should get a hub ring adapter for those wheels since the hub diameter is larger on the BMW than on the GTO. The wheels and tires will fit, although the offset is a little small (as already noted). If you decide to go with bigger tires later, you'll might have trouble.
